Complete set of 18 color lithographs "Les Chevaux de Dali", a series of works with a horse as its main theme published by Armand & Georges Israel in 1983.
This limited edition series of 4 980 was printed in 1983 during the lifetime of Salvador Dali and with his consent. The portfolio was created with the lithographs from series 3 001 to 4 980, a total of 1 980 copies.
Each lithograph is plate-signed by Salvador Dali, features the copyright from the SPADEM on the lower left corner, the embossed seal stamped by the publishers Armand & Georges Israel and the title is printed in the lower right corner.
Artworks entirely made in France: from the production of the Vélin d’Arches paper in Arches in the Vosges department, to the traditional lithographic printing process, one drawing for each different color, one color per press run. Each lithograph was printed at Claude Jobin’s workshop in Paris, dimensions 56,5 cm x 36,5 cm.
